Zehra Red Ajrakh Modal Silk Medium Jacket draws inspiration from Ajrakh, a centuries-old textile tradition associated with the Indus region and carried forward by artisan communities in Kutch and beyond. Known for its intricate patterns and traditional resist-dyeing and block-printing techniques, Ajrakh reflects a deep understanding of colour, geometry and textile craftsmanship. The red Ajrakh modal silk fabric is complemented by a blue Ikat cotton lining, bringing together two distinctive textile traditions. Tagai and brocade finishing across the front, back and sleeves add further detail to the jacket. Its reversible construction offers two ways to style the piece, allowing the textile heritage and craftsmanship to be appreciated from either side.
