- About Appliqué Work:- Appliqué work transforms cloth into layered storytelling through the placement of fabric shapes onto a base surface. Rooted strongly in Odisha, this technique evolved from practical repair methods into a vibrant decorative tradition used for ceremonial textiles, garments, and temple hangings. What began as necessity slowly became a language of form, colour, and symbolism.
