- About Beadwork - India / Egypt / Venice :-Beadwork is one of the world's oldest decorative crafts, practised across cultures for thousands of years and shaped by local materials, techniques, and traditions. Found in regions as diverse as ancient Egypt, Venice, Africa, and India, the craft involves individually stitching or weaving beads onto textiles and other surfaces to create decorative patterns, texture, and ornamentation. In India, beadwork has flourished across states such as Gujarat, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, and Madhya Pradesh, where it continues to be practised by artisan communities using techniques passed down through generations.

Similar fabrics and closely matched colours will be used to preserve the original design aesthetic.
