- About Ajrak:- Ajrak block-printing uses mineral-rich Indus water for colour/ mordant fixation and tonal stability. Sequential resist, dye, and wash cycles achieve geometric calibration. - About Kantha:- Kantha involves layered cotton stitched with continuous running embroidery to reinforce and embellish. Its micro-stitch repetition builds structural density and surface relief. Originating in Bengal, it demonstrates efficient upcycling through stitch-based reinforcement and narrative patterning.
