- About Tangaliya Weave :-Tangaliya weaving is a traditional handloom craft practised by the Dangasia community in the Surendranagar region of Gujarat. The technique is distinguished by the creation of small bead-like dots formed by twisting contrasting weft yarns around the warp during weaving, rather than by embroidery or printing. Woven primarily in cotton and wool, the fabric features geometric layouts arranged in rhythmic, evenly spaced patterns. Produced on handlooms, Tangaliya textiles combine texture with visual precision and are recognised for their distinctive dotted surface, a defining characteristic unique to this weaving tradition.
- About Chikankari:- Chikankari applies over forty defined stitches on semi-transparent cotton or muslin substrates. Executed post-block-print tracing, its relief embroidery integrates optical layering and thread tension control, producing shadow-like motifs characteristic of Lucknow’s fine needlework systems.
Fabric Pattern Variation To Order Disclaimer
Many of our garments are made using handcrafted and handwoven fabrics, due to which the exact fabric may not always be available again. While the overall look, feel, and colour of the garment will be maintained, slight variations in motifs, weave patterns, placements, and colour shades may occur.
Similar fabrics and closely matched colours will be used to preserve the original design aesthetic.
