• About Tussar Silk:-Tussar silk from wild Antheraea cocoons undergoes post-emergence harvesting, maintaining ecological balance. Its filament irregularity and porous morphology enhance dye absorption and thermal regulation. Reeling preserves natural slubs for tactile variation, giving it its characteristic textured appearance and difference from other silks.

Mirasi works with handloom, handwoven and handcrafted textiles that are often dyed in natural and traditional methods. Variations in colour and slight colour transfers may be seen. Thread pulls, texture and weave irregularities are characteristic of the handmade process.
