• About Kantha:- Kantha involves layered cotton stitched with continuous running embroidery to reinforce and embellish. Its micro-stitch repetition builds structural density and surface relief. Originating in Bengal, it demonstrates efficient upcycling through stitch-based reinforcement and narrative patterning.

Mirasi works with handloom, handwoven and handcrafted textiles that are often dyed in natural and traditional methods. Variations in colour and slight colour transfers may be seen. Thread pulls, texture and weave irregularities are characteristic of the handmade process.
