Wine mashru kurta coord set
This set includes a Mashru kurta paired with matching Mashru pants, creating a coordinated outfit that balances structure and comfort. The smooth Mashru surface gives a gentle sheen while the cotton base keeps the garments breathable. The wine colour gives the set a cohesive and rich appearance. Ajrakh modal silk detailing on the kurta adds printed texture and subtle contrast. Designed as a complete outfit for extended wear, the set reflects traditional weaving and printing techniques adapted into a contemporary coordinated garment silhouette.

- About Mashru Weave:-Mashru weave is a textile shaped as much by belief as by skill. Developed in the historic weaving centres of Patan and Mandvi in Gujarat, Mashru emerged as a thoughtful response to cultural customs that restricted the wearing of silk against the skin. Its name comes from the Arabic word mashru, meaning “permitted,” reflecting a fabric that allowed the visual richness of silk while ensuring cotton touched the body. The result is a cloth that balances ethics, comfort, and luxury with quiet brilliance.
- About Ajrak Modal Silk:- Ajrakh Modal Silk is a block printed textile that combines the traditional Ajrakh resist printing craft of Kutch with a modal and silk blended fabric, resulting in a textile recognised by its rich natural dye colours, symmetrical geometric patterns, soft sheen and fluid, luxurious drape. Unlike Ajrakh Modal which has a matte and very soft finish, Ajrakh Modal Silk has a smoother surface with a slight lustre due to the silk content, allowing the indigo, madder red, iron black and off-white natural dye palette to appear deeper and more luminous. The fabric is lightweight, smooth and flowing, and can be identified by its geometric Ajrakh patterns along with a subtle sheen and more dressy appearance compared to cotton or modal Ajrakh.
Fabric Pattern Variation To Order Disclaimer
Many of our garments are made using handcrafted and handwoven fabrics, due to which the exact fabric may not always be available again. While the overall look, feel, and colour of the garment will be maintained, slight variations in motifs, weave patterns, placements, and colour shades may occur.
Similar fabrics and closely matched colours will be used to preserve the original design aesthetic.
