• Ajrakh Velvet :-Ajrakh Velvet is a textile that combines the traditional Ajrakh block printing craft of Kutch with the rich, soft surface of velvet, resulting in a fabric recognised by its deep natural dye colours, geometric repeat patterns and a dense, textured surface with a soft sheen. Unlike Ajrakh printed on cotton or modal, Ajrakh Velvet has a heavier structure, a plush surface and greater visual depth because the pile of the velvet absorbs and reflects dye differently, making indigo, madder red, black and maroon tones appear darker and more saturated. The fabric can be identified by its symmetrical Ajrakh patterns printed on a soft, slightly lustrous velvet surface with a structured yet smooth fall, making it more suitable for jackets, tunics and occasion garments rather than everyday summer wear.
