• About Chanderi:- Chanderi weaving integrates silk warp and cotton weft using three-shuttle looms. Zari inclusion introduces metallic threads in gold and silver. The resulting light weight, high-sheen fabric combines tensile resilience with optical translucency, giving Chanderi its characteristic sheer and sheen.

• About Pattu Weave:- Pattu is a word that holds multiple textile histories, shifting meaning as it travels across India. In western Rajasthan and parts of Himachal Pradesh, pattu refers to woollen strips, woven textiles rooted in pastoral life. In the southern states, however, the same word simply means silk, pointing toward ceremonial handloom traditions. These parallel meanings reveal how deeply language and material culture are intertwined.
