• About Ikat Silk:- Ikat silk is a textile where design exists long before the fabric itself. Practised across Odisha and Telangana, this tradition is defined by resist dyeing yarns prior to weaving, a process that requires extraordinary foresight and precision. Patterns are not added to the cloth but planned in the threads, making Ikat as much an exercise in calculation as it is in artistry.

• About Pochampally Ikat:- Pochampally Ikat integrates pre-dyed warp and weft alignment via resist binding. Dye mapping requires mathematical precision for motif registration. The process yields soft-edge transitions (“chinde”) characteristic of Telangana’s double-resist dye calibration.
