Rooted strongly in Odisha, this technique evolved from practical repair methods into a vibrant decorative tradition used for ceremonial textiles, garments, and temple hangings. What began as necessity slowly became a language of form, colour, and symbolism.

• About Chanderi:- Chanderi weaving integrates silk warp and cotton weft using three-shuttle looms. Zari inclusion introduces metallic threads in gold and silver. The resulting light weight, high-sheen fabric combines tensile resilience with optical translucency, giving Chanderi its characteristic sheer and sheen.
